Just for a second, and then stops. They've all been replaced over the summer, but it keeps happening, and ALWAYS when we're asleep.
It takes me forever to fall back asleep because I can't relax. Sometimes I jerk awake in the middle of the night, imagining the alarm is about to go off.
Ideas? Does this happen to anyone else?
At this point, the experience of the event is worse than the event itself from an objective point of view, but knowing that doesn't help.

Hey @hanser , Old gas leak alarms can give false alarm upon changes in humidity, temperature or accumulation of dust on its vital electronic bits, You can try the following: 1- Try cleaning them from dust by a vacuum cleaner. Hold the handle of the vacuum cleaner strongly on the openings on your gas leak alarm.
2- If it is equipped with a battery, that’s a misery! Check if the batteries needs to be changed. We encourage you to consider installing our latest percise alarm Ghasmo to get a relieve of this terrible stress. Our device has no batteries in the main unit and have no low battery alarm, instead it has an LCD showing the percentage of the batteries.
